Helping parents of Internet-enabled kids

Parents of the first generation of Internet-enabled kids face an interesting challenge: teaching them to use technology responsibly. As my own kids began exploring and connecting to the Internet I looked for ways to monitor that exploration, but it seemed that unless you had a technical background there were very few resources aimed at teaching you how to manage and monitor your home network.

My background in IT led me to become a resource to non-technical parents grappling with some of these issues, and over time I began to see the same themes. What started as a couple questions from another parent after a Cub Scout meeting has evolved into this web site. I hope that you find it useful.
